81:1
81:1, composed for vibraphone, junk percussion, and track, reflects the socio-economic status of Hong Kong from 2019 onwards. The piece is based on data on unemployment and median household income between 2019 and 2024. 81:1 represents the ratio between the median income of the top 10% of households and the bottom 10% of households in 2024, stressing a major issue yet to be resolved.

About me
With eclectic and lively music, Cody Fung Cheuk Wun has not only explored modern musical styles, but also experimented with new genres, creating the most pleasurable experience for listeners. From classical to contemporary, he strives to compose, arrange and perform. The keyboard player has surpassed his prior efforts with his latest compositions: “Higitalisation”, a fusion of electronic music and an acoustic cello, as well as the award-winning piece: “A Twist in Time”. Both projects are inspired by fantasies and the modern world, and aim to revive one’s childhood and the desire to enjoy music.
